Accountant - Financial Reporting - R2R vacancy for a globally operating Basel based company in the pharmaceutical sector.

Your tasks:

  • Providing seamless financial services with a clear customer focus, escalating exceptions as needed
  • Collaborating cross-functionally to ensure accurate accounting, financial reporting, and revenue settlement
  • Leading period-end closing and reporting, ensuring adherence to standards and regulations
  • Defining, documenting, and ensuring compliance with processes, policies, and procedures
  • Implementing control procedures to achieve SOX certification and promptly addressing audit issues
  • Acting service-oriented to facilitate high-performing service lines and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives



Your experience/knowledge:

  • 5+ years of financial experience with expertise in managing financial shared services
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a multi-national organization
  • Previous experience with SAP and project management preferred
  • University level degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance or Chartered Accountant
  • Lean/Six Sigma Certified would be beneficial
  • Language skills: English - fluent in written and spoken, other languages are plus
