We Elevate... Your Responsibilities

As CAD/PLM Digital Twin Engineer you support the technical development of new elevator components and systems with the 3DExperience Platform, from design to manufacturing.

As a key member within our Digital Twin Project, you implement Computer Aided Engineering practices and you interface with up-stream and down-stream collaborative teams such as mechanical, electric and electronic teams.

You will collaborate with management and engineering stakeholders to maximize the capabilities of CATIA and 3DExperience tools to create highly robust system models and data management unions, addressing both current and possible future requirements on multiple fronts.

Main tasks include:

• Assist with development, compliance and documentation of CAD standards, procedures, and best practices
• Create 3D models as well as document and refine of design methodology
• Support, execute and supervise migration activities as well as change management
• Support and develop solution outline for mechanical design and library migration
• Develop strategies for data migration and/or integration with 3DExperience
• Review and assure quality of migrated data as per newly developed design methodology

Further requirements may include:

• Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar
• Extensive experience in design engineering and collaborating experience with product line engineering and manufacturing
• Excellent Catia, design template and product table or 3D Experience tools expertise
• Excellent knowledge of designing engineering systems and components in 3DExperience
• Knowledge in model-based definition, parametric modelling and top-down approach
• Working proficiency in English, German and French is an asset
