Delivery Manager

Your Mission

Engage with customer and their business partners to solve complex problems, drive solutions and deal with all kind of challenges to deliver the solutions as per commitment. Work fully autonomously but collaboratively with customer partners to build IT strategies aligned to Wipro strategy and goals.

Ensure 24/7 world-class delivery & support to customers, eliminate impact to customer business and facilitate continuous improvement by building an in-depth knowledge of the customers’ priorities and needs and becoming a trusted advisor.

Identify potential growth opportunities and collaborate with key stakeholders to ensure the identified opportunities are realised for the mutual benefit of Wipro and the customer.

Your Tasks Will Include
  • Act as key owner for the delivery of projects & operations in the assigned portfolio, including Profit and Loss (P & L) responsibility.
  • Establish & maintain healthy working relationship with the customer management teams in Switzerland to deliver business outcomes.
  • Define vision and business goals for project & operational teams, closely monitor and measure results.
  • Manage a team of 100+ FTEs located across the globe delivering 24/7 support for the large IT infrastructure.
  • Identify new opportunities in the customer IT infrastructure landscape, expand the scope of work and establish statements of work for new opportunities.
  • Engage with the customer to negotiate contract renewals for existing SOW.
  • Manage and lead Project Managers delivering projects as per contractual commitments.
  • Work with Leaders, Architects, Project Managers and other technical & functional teams within Wipro and the customer landscape acting as the Delivery SPOC to deliver world-class day to day operations & new technology design implementations.
  • Drive estimates, delivery plans and retrospectives with product owners. Identify and manage engagement risks, flag serious issues early and propose mitigations.
  • Drive strategic innovation to help business adopting new age technologies.
  • Conduct regular delivery reviews to prevent cost and schedule overruns, meet the targets of operational parameters and ensure high customer satisfaction.
  • Manage different teams to ensure KPI & Service levels as per contract.
  • Act as a SPOC between teams and different stakeholders for any escalated cases to fast track resolution.
  • Work along with account and sales teams to meet the needs of portfolio ensuring that all the resourcing needs are addressed in due time.

Skills And Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in IT or other relevant field.
  • Overall experience of 15+ years in Information Technology sector.
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience as Delivery Manager for complex projects and IT operations (100+ people).
  • 3+ years of IT Project management experience with different engagement models.
  • Strong, proven people management skills with emphasis on talent nurturing & skill development as well as customer satisfaction and high performance.
  • Understanding of the industry best practices, especially in the windows & virtualization platforms.
  • Ability to lead and work effectively as a head and member of a dynamic, dispersed virtual team and to meet deadlines.
  • Strong experience working with distributed teams on the customer Organisation.
  • Excellent communication, presentation and planning skills.
  • Self-motivated, ability to multitask, reliable to deliver on time, quick-thinker, able to work in a fast-paced work environment.
  • Fluent English language skills.

Place of work: Lausanne, Vaud, Switzerland.
  • Manage FAO delivery (specializing in P2P and R2R) for a very large account - P&L, SLA, Productivity, Attrition management, Customer Engagement etc.
  • Drive transformation program
  • Manage a span (direct & indirect) of 200+ FTEs
  • Account Farming for additional business opportunities
