Development Engineer (Mechanical Design) - Full Time - Winterthur, Switzerland

Join our Technology Center within Flow Equipment Division in Winterthur to help us take the Design Group to the next level.

In this role you will be accountable for:
  • Performing design and development work for specific pump ranges
  • Creating design studies and related design calculations
  • Creating, checking and /or reviewing detail drawings and documentation
  • Supporting colleagues and trainees from a technical perspective
  • Planning and coordinating development projects and Order Related Engineering projects on a local and global level
To succeed in this role, you will need:
  • Educated to degree level (Bachelor, Master) in Mechanical Engineering
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in Mechanical Design in a similar industry to Sulzer, pumps know-how strongly preferred
  • Advanced skills in 3-D parametric design using Siemens NX
  • Good project management skills and experience working with globally distributed teams
  • High degree of technical flair and innovative ability
  • Flexible and hands-on working style
  • Analytical mindset with a strong focus on quality
  • Team-oriented personality but also able to work independently
  • High integrity and openness to people with various backgrounds and culture
  • Excellent command of English, German is considered a plus
