Job description

The candidate will drive the design, development, and implementation of ESG financial reporting framework at STMicroelectronics.
  • Develop and implement a long-term reporting strategy encompassing developing regulatory requirements and strategic drivers.
  • Monitoring and ensuring reporting evolution of ESG financial reporting (EU and US)
  • Engage with reporters in the regions and across BUs to gather data and provides necessary assistance
  • Monitor reported data to ensure alignment with definitions and requirements in document procedures and guidance (SOPs)
  • Manage the deployment of ESG financial reporting tools through data enrichment
  • Preparation of key ESG reporting KPIs and other metrics along with the elaboration of control environment
Identify opportunities to improve reporting practices and proposes solutions
Conduct research of best practices, evaluates industry standards and external requirements to determine needed actions

Profile

Skills/ Capabilities
Strong experience with ESG data collection and financial reporting processes and at ease e with numbers and data with subsequent analytics
Expert Knowledge of corporate activities related to ESG and strong passion for this topic
Strong customer focus and can function as a credible expert on the ESG subject.
Strong Project management capabilities and ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously and diverse stakeholders
Strong interpersonal skills to build relationships with stakeholders, customers, and partners across the organization
Proactive approach to problem-solving and agility to work under tight deadlines
Strong verbal and written communication skills with an ability to work with stakeholders globally from diverse backgrounds.
Fluency in English
Working knowledge of MS Office Tools and SAP knowledge would be a plus.
Profile
  • University degree in accounting/ finance/ economics, Masters would be an asset
  • At least 8+ years of accounting and reporting experience with at least 4+ years in a big 4 consultancy firm
  • 5 + years of experience with ESG financial reporting
  • Able to work globally in a very dynamic environment
  • Used to work and be exposed externally, with customers and partners
  • Interest to work in a multi-cultural team
