We’re seeking a dynamic Head of Commercial Business Support to drive marketing operations to new heights!

The position
The Head of Commercial Business Support is pivotal in steering commercial operations towards heightened effectiveness and efficiency. This leadership role involves managing teams, nurturing stakeholder relationships, and driving strategic initiatives. You will play a crucial part in shaping the strategic direction of our commercial operations.

Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Leading and inspiring the Commercial Business Support Team to achieve strategic objectives and project targets, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

  • Ensuring clear objectives and KPIs are set for the team, providing regular coaching and professional development opportunities.

  • Overseeing performance management processes to ensure consistent achievement of objectives and maintain a succession pipeline for team growth.

  • Developing and execute commercial strategies collaboratively, monitoring progress towards departmental goals and fostering best practices.

  • Ensuring adherence to company processes, compliance with business ethics procedures, and establish strong relationships with key stakeholders to drive market understanding and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications
You have decided to apply for this exiting position because you already have a deep understanding of the pharmaceutical industry, including knowledge of market trends, regulatory requirements, and industry-specific challenges.
Furthermore, you will :

  • Hold a relevant degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field, with a preference for candidates possessing a Master’s degree.

  • Demonstrate language proficiency, being fluent in English and possessing at least an intermediate level in German; familiarity with other languages, especially French, is advantageous.

  • Exhibit a strong understanding of marketing roles within the pharmaceutical industry as a key responsibility.

  • Showcase experience in project management and managing events as well as good understanding of marketing research methodologies.

  • Manage budgetary responsibilities and effectively oversee third-party agencies and vendors to ensure streamlined operations.

  • Implement and refine processes and workflows to enhance efficiency and productivity, serving as a key responsibility.

  • Communicate effectively and demonstrate exceptional interpersonal skills to lead and inspire team members.

Novo Nordisk Pharma AG is the Swiss Affiliate, with over 90 employees, dedicated to making a remarkable difference to patients across the country. Located at the Circle, Zurich Airport. The Swiss Affiliate belongs to Region North West Europe, which is part of IO (International Operations).
