In Burckhardt Compression, the Systems Division is responsible for all new equipment being developed and offered globally to our customers. This includes a global factory network at five major locations and a team of close to 2’000 colleagues.We are looking for a proactive and dedicatedHead of Global Business Controlling Systems (m/f/d)Main responsibilities:

• Owning the financial performance of the Division from order intake to EBIT and recommending both preventive and remedial actions in order to meet financial targets
• Managing a global team of financial controllers
• Supporting the Division’s management team in all financial matters by creating financial transparency and developing a basis for decision-making
• Ownership and development of all controlling processes within the division, in compliance with corporate regulations and guidelines
• Developing, implementing, and maintaining controlling tools
• Preparing and analyzing the monthly divisional reporting
• Coordinating and analyzing the quarterly divisional forecasts
• Evaluating CAPEX investment applications
• Identifying and evaluating measures to improve profitability and supporting in implementing these measures
• Partnering with Corporate and Division management in the definition and delivery of M&A projects
• Supporting in the definition of the global ERP template and the roll-out within the division
• Partnering with the Divisional management team by providing strategic analyses to assist with business decisions
• Recruiting, training, developing, and evaluating the regional staff while mentoring high potential employees
• Supporting and coaching the global, regional, and local leadership teams to translate business objectives into clearly defined business cases, costs, and schedules to support business growth
• Developing a cohesive, strategic team of controllers to successfully manage the financial and administrative operations in the region – becoming a model of “best practices” across the company
• Monitoring key performance indicators, highlighting trends and variances and recommending both strategic and tactical actions for improvement
  

Your profile

• Degree in finance/business/economics
• Worked several years as a business unit controller in a global function, ideally working experience in a similar position in an industrial business environment
• Experienced in leading a team and a good networker
• Good knowledge of MS-Office, SAP and CRM
• Fluent in English (written and spoken), fluent German would be a plus
