International Sustainability Manager

In the context of strong acceleration of the Sustainability agenda, we are excited to be currently recruiting an International Sustainability Manager to join our team, in Meyrin (Geneva).

Under the supervision of the International Sustainability Director, the Manager will play a key role to integrate the sustainability agenda in the Maison’s activities and in our multiple markets. The Manager will have a transformative role by engaging and upskilling our Teams to help transform our day-to-day approach, by producing content for internal and external audiences, by uniting and animating the Cartier Sustainability Community and by having a 360° overview of our ESG performance to support compliance and disclosure requirements.

The role is transversal, as you will be working very closely with Cartier teams in HQ and across the world, as well as other key stakeholders in the Richemont Group and beyond. It is ideal for a dynamic individual who is passionate about sustainability issues.

HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT:

Engage and upskill our Teams to help transform our day-to-day approach. You will oversee international communication, L&D and external communication:

• Build tools to inform, train and upskill, such as global and tailored trainings worldwide and internal sustainability communication content

• Lead, in close collaboration with the Corporate Communication team, Cartier’s external communication on Sustainability
• Support Academic partnerships

Unite, animate and monitor the Cartier Sustainability Community and action plans. You will engagewithMarkets and manage the Sustainability Community:

• Support Cartier Regional Teams in building and implementing their Regional Sustainability Roadmaps
• Consolidate Cartier’s global vision of all Entities’ Sustainability action plans
• Animate and lead our internal Sustainability Community

Build knowledge and collect data to support compliance and disclosure requirements.You will help meet existing and new Cartier’s Sustainability commitments and requirements:

• Organize ESG data collection and management process to comply with new regulations, input the Group’s ESG data Digitalisation project, and write Cartier’s contribution to external reporting incl. the Group’s Annual ESG Report
• Answer sustainability requests from our partners
• Lead the RJC recertification audits

HOW WILL YOU EXPERIENCE SUCCESS WITH US

• You hold a Master’s degree in Sustainability, Business, Law or Engineering studies, or other relevant field with a focus in Sustainability

• You have minimum 7-8 years of experience in Sustainability
• You have previous experience in the private sector, ideally in the Watch & Jewellery Industry (a retail experience would be a plus)
• You have the capacity to bridge business needs with sustainability requirements
• You are fluent in English and French
• You have the capacity to research and summarize complex/large data sets and information from various sources
• You are able to inform decision-making with data analysis, vulgarization and precision
• You are an effective communicator and adapt content to different audiences as well as to stakeholders from different cultures
You are open-minded and agile, with strong interpersonal, organizational and analytical skills
