For our client, a global player in the construction industry in Eastern Switzerland, we are looking for a IT Product Owner Learning & Development (m/f/d) as soon as possible.


Your tasks:

  • Create direct impact on the end-user engagement and learners’ experience by translating and implementing complex business requirements into most seamless and simple technical solutions
  • Provide global system support and continuously enhance system capabilities to enable employee and business growth
  • Partner with key stakeholders in the HR learning & development team and Global IT to build and manage a state-of-the-art solution portfolio
  • Manage the roadmap to grow and maintain the learning technology stack in line with the business strategy
  • Understand business goals, needs and challenges
  • Gather, analyse and prioritize the business requirements and translate them into user stories
  • Derive requirements for future IT solutions, clarify technical details, define an approach, and successfully implement the solution in defined sprint cycles
  • Select procedure models and methods, both classical and agile, to create maximum impact
  • Form a powerful team with IT business analysts, IT product owners, and the HR business counterparts who are located all over the world
  • Involve in international projects and contribute to their success
  • Establish a trustworthy relationship with all stakeholders and vendors involved to achieve defined targets
  • Ensure high-quality support to the global user community and use this as a source to continuously improve the learning & development environment and drive your personal and professional growth

Your Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Administration, Human Resources Management, or related fields
  • Minimum 3+ year experience in product lifecycle management of learning management solutions, including product discovery, design, implementation, build/configuration, and support
  • Expert knowledge on emerging learning technologies and innovative use of mature technologies
  • Technical curiosity and the willingness to explore and learn new technologies, patterns, and practices
  • Hands-on configuration experience in leading edge learning (management) solutions
  • End-user centricity mindset when thinking of solutions that meet business requirements
  • An entrepreneurial spirit, passion for crafting a compelling product vision and the skills to make things happen
  • Excellent conceptual, analytical and problem-solving skills paired with strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Strong project management skills, ideally in both waterfall and agile methodologies
  • HR business process understanding as a plus
  • Fluent in English (verbally and written)
