Your role

Do you want to be our test expert, making sure our application and technical environments meet the requirements?

We’re looking for an IT quality & test engineer to:

  • design, build and perform manual and automated tests for our application’s new features
  • understand the bigger picture to identify and predict issues early
  • comply with test strategy, testing standards, templates, and test plans
  • write test plans, create test cases for the product and execute them

Your team

You’ll be working in the Digital Payments – Platform Services Pod, as part of the Stream Pay & Manage Liquidity in Zurich. If you’ve ever created a payment in UBS E-Banking or Mobile Banking, then you have used our backend services. Our team is responsible for verifying, capturing and dispatching payments to processing and execution.

Your expertise

  • previously held a testing role, ideally within the finance sector
  • experience writing functional or non-functional test criteria to meet business requirements
  • manual testing, preferably with automation knowledge
  • knowledge of delivery methodologies like TDD and BDD using Cucumber
  • experience with SQL (DB2) for querying, modelling and generation data, JSON and XML
  • Knowledge of tools like SOAP and Log Aggregation Tools (e.g. Splunk)
  • knowledge of the Mainframe beneficial
  • experience using project management tools like GitLab
  • team player who can collaborate well with developers, business analysts and other team members
  • full understanding of SDLC, QA and Defect Lifecycle
  • IT Industry recognized testing practitioner qualifications
