Our client is a well established, stable commodity trading company in metals with headquarters in Zug and subsidiaries worldwider. To strenghten the Finance department, they are looking for an eager, motivatedJunior Trade Finance Specialist (100%)reporting to the Head of Trade Finance, you will be responsible for:
  • Handling of daily payments, checking payments on its plausibility , monitoring incoming payments
  • Reconciliation of various bank accounts on a daily basis
  • Supporting trade finance team by checking L/C documents
  • Arranging releases and follow up on the releases with the banks
  • Checking incoming L/C’s on its workability
  • Communicate with Banks to negotiate for quotes for Letter Of Credit Transactions
  • Controlling charges and commission raised by our banks
  • Control trading operations such as establishing letter of credit, negotiating LC Terms and conditions, discounting LC, issuing bank guarantees, and submitting control returns on all the discounted LCs
  • Assistance on several lists and reporting
Our profile:
  • At least 1-2 years L/C experience preferably bank back ground
  • Excellent English knowledge
  • Team player

  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Accurate working functionality
  • high motivation and willingness to learn
