Laboratory Costing Intern

We are looking for you:
  • Currently studying for your Bachelor/Master’s degree in Finance, Business or relevant area.
  • Good understanding of Costing standards
  • Mastery of Excel, other Office tools is an asset
  • Autonomous and curious
  • Fluent in English & French, other local languages are an asset

You will join the Laboratory Services team whose mission is to support Neuchatel laboratories in terms of Planning, Quality & System Validation and Asset Management and to support ultimately the transformation of PMI. You will be located in Neuchatel.

Roles & Objectives
You will be responsible to establish the testing cost of the analytical portfolio in Neuchatel R&D labs. You will be in contact with:
  • Financial department to understand the costing standard
- Testing Laboratory and Governance - Laboratory Governance department to be trained on PMI costing model
  • Testing Laboratory and Governance relevant departments & employees to collect all the required information to run the costing model (consumables, fixed assets, indirect costs)

Once the financial model completed, you will work on behalf of Laboratory Services with Neuchatel Testing Labs to identify potential improvement ideas (actuals vs standard) and with Laboratory Governance to compare testing costs with other PMI laboratories and with external labs.
