The opportunity

Our business unit EY etventure is known as a digital pioneer and experience leader with end-to-end execution power. We support corporate clients in the strategic alignment, identification, development and scaling of digital businesses, new ventures and innovation projects - according to our principles Human@Center, Technology@Speed and Innovation@Scale.

Your key responsibilities

• 
  As a project lead you manage innovation, corporate venture and transformation projects. You are responsible together with the team of skilled colleagues (e.g. UX/UI designers, software developers, product managers, performance marketing specialists etc.) for the overall project success, both for the client and EY etventure.

• You independently set up the right project structures, define the project approach and comprehensively drive the development of customer-specific solutions forward whilst leading an internal cross-functional team and the client stakeholders. It is common to integrate employees of the customer as part of the project team (co-creation).
  
• You build a good understanding of your customers and their ecosystem to identify and implement digital solutions and new business models. This includes the needs analysis, agile development and validation of business ideas according to Design Thinking and Lean Startup.

• 
  As a chapter lead for the Consultants and Senior Consultants in the Zurich office, you inspire your colleagues, develop them further and spur them on to high performance.

• 
  By providing support to the Partner and Directors, you take on a sustainable role in the acquisition of new projects (e.g. writing proposals, accompanying pitches, etc.) and building out long term client relationships.

• 
  You prepare and facilitate independently sophisticated innovation and strategy workshops based on Design Thinking with a C-level audience - both on-site and remote.

• 
  You are confident in all project phases and are appreciated by the client due to your high communication skills and your experience in selected areas. You will use your growing experience to identify approaches for the acquisition of follow-up projects.

Skills and attributes for success
To qualify for the role you must have

• At least 5 years of relevant work experience in a recognized digital, strategy and/or innovation consulting company. Startup/Scaleup or corporate innovation experience is an advantage.

• 
  Degree in innovation, business informatics, economics, (industrial) engineering, business administration with technical background or similar.

• 
  Hands-on experience in the implementation of (digital) innovation projects according to Design Thinking, Lean Startup and Agile methodologies.

• 
  You are able to recognize the different team profiles and weld them together into a strong project team according to their competences and personalities. You actively promote the individual competences of the team members and support them in building up their own expertise.
• As a Swiss international company, we require fluent German and English as well as understanding of Swiss German
