We are now looking for a Manager, Parts Supply Support to join our team. This is a permanent role located in any other major location from WGLS (Kampen, Trieste, Vassa, Helsinki or Frauenfeld).

What Will You Be Doing

The manager Parts Supply Supports understands the GLS function parts supply, identifies malfunctions and improvement potential, and initiates change. Supporting on the cross functional development of customer oriented supply processes. Create a vision on usage of systems in particular based on the future use of S4 Hana (SAP), supplier portal and connected compliance and customs systems. The team serves also quality inspection, vendor claim settler, demand planning, and supplier documentation.

As a Manager, Parts Supply Support, your work will focus on these responsibilities:

• Maintain process descriptions, procedures and training material up to date.
• Analyze key figures of the function
• Lead the Key user team
• Initiate cross functional change via operation support management team
• Manage 3-4 process developers
  
  

To be successful in this role, we expect you to have:

• Change management
• In depth supply chain competence and interdependencies (in particular purchasing, planning, quality inspection)
• Leadership skills
• Lean principles and process development
• SAP and similar system interfaces and processes; S4 Hana knowledge would be a big plus
• Wärtsilä knowledge & business understanding
