For our local production locations in Vallorbe/VD and Rüti/ZH Switzerland, we have an immediate opening for a Plant Controller. Reporting directly to the Head of Operations Controlling, you are an integral part of the local management team, providing guidance in all local financial decisions. The successful candidate is a problem-solver who will work closely with the General Manager and local management team to further improve the business.

Tasks:

• Responsible for preparing and analyzing monthly financial and operational results, and assisting General Management in identifying strengths and weaknesses
• Preparation of budgets, and forecasts, together with Group Controlling, and local management team
• Further development of existing standard costing method, as well as cost center controlling process
• Securing correct latest estimates for local projects
• Support in regular yearly closing (local GAAP and US-GAAP)
• Development and implementation of new information and control systems for the management team
• Business partnering for local management team
• Creation of standard reports and ad hoc analyses

Required qualifications:

• Very good written and spoken English & French skills (German is an advantage)
• At least 2-3 years of experience in Business Controlling
• Excellent business engagement and communication skills
• Analytical and problem-solving skills as well as experience in working with people in a cross-cultural and global environment
• Persistence and able to work under pressure
• Strong knowledge in SAP R/3 (FI/CO)
• Very good MS office skills (Excel, Power Point)
• Willingness to travel between Rüti/ZH and Vallorbe/VD
