Job Description

As our new Global Pre-Launch Strategy Lead, Nemolizumab, you will be responsible for leading key cross functional pre-launch projects related to market conditioning across all indications. The role partners closely with global medical affairs organization building a strong bridge between science and strategy. Within this role you will work closely with and report directly to Nemolizumab Global Franchise Head.

Nemolizumab is a first in class, investigational, monoclonal antibody that directly targets the interleukin-31 receptor A, a neuroimmune cytokine. IL-31 is believed to play a role in more than 50 diseases and is a promising therapeutic target for treating multiple conditions. Nemolizumab is currently in phase 3 of development for Prurigo Nodularis and Atopic Dermatitis, it was licensed from Chugai to Galderma in 2016.

Job Responsibilities

  • Lead the development of the Global Nemolizumab Communications Platform (GCP) to ensure cross functional alignment on all product communications. Develop the brand lexicon, brand narrative inclusive of MOA, disease state and branded narratives. Lead updates to the GCP as more data becomes available and ensures cross functional pull through of the most up to date version
  • Lead the development of the Global Core Label collaborating with clinical development, global medical affairs and global regulatory to spearhead the development of label zero, identifying evidence gaps and developing a plan to ensure a differentiated label upon launch
  • Lead global KOL mapping, including identification, profiling, and execution of a KOL influence map in collaboration with external medical communications agency, global medical affairs and clinical development
  • Develop strategic partnerships with global KOLs; effectively engaging and cultivating long-term relationships within the Prurigo Nodularis and Atopic Dermatitis communities (HCPs in general (MD, NP, PA).
  • Lead the global commercial KOL engagement strategy and coordinates global commercial advisory boards, round tables, 1:1s to ensure appropriated KOL input into global commercialization strategies
  • Lead the development of the global scientific narrative for nemolizumab, including presentations that will be utilized to educate global prescribers upon launch during global conferences (virtual/live)
  • Chairs the Nemolizumab KOL Content Steering Committee (KCSC); setting agendas, coordinating invitations, facilitating meetings to seek input on many unbranded and branded projects led by the nemolizumab commercial/brand leads
  • Represents the Global Nemolizumab Franchise team at the global publications planning team to ensure alignment between global medical affairs and the global franchise
  • At Global Congresses, orchestrates KOL Executive Encounters and Engagement.
  • Supports scientific and commercial assessments of future indications as part of the life cycle management strategy
  • Mentor individuals on the Global Market Access, Pricing, and Chanel team as well as LOC access teams
  • Actively contribute to the annual brand planning, forecasting, and budgeting process



Minimum Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry including a combination of functions: commercial, global medical affairs, HEOR
  • Experience in dermatology/immunology preferred
  • Strong ability to translate science into commercial strategies
  • D, PharmD or MD degree required
  • Extensive cross-functional experience required, proven track record of collaboration and coordination with key internal and external stakeholders (including external agency partners)
  • Pre-launch and launch experience in competitive markets, global experience required (including US experience)
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills: ability to articulate a point of view succinctly and effectively to senior leaders and external customers
  • Comprehensive analytical/strategic thinking skills; demonstrated ability to utilize data in fact-based decision-making (data to insights, to action).
  • Provide solid business rationale, clear sense of structure, accountability, timelines, and urgency
  • Ability and confidence to work effectively across a global matrix enterprise and influence without authority
  • Adaptability, resilience and tenacity and ability to quickly pivot
  • Proficient in English, MS Office; especially Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Availability to travel >50% time
