HZI acts as an engineering, procurement and construction contractor and project developer, delivering complete turnkey plants and system solutions for thermal and biological EfW recovery. HZI’s Service Group combines its own research and development with comprehensive manufacturing and erection capabilities to support our clients throughout the entire life cycle of their plant.

Your responsibilities

  • Forecast, monitoring, and reporting of assigned projects (new and small projects in EfW), incl. cash and revenue forecast, variance analysis etc.
  • Booking of actuals based on project plan values and progress reports
  • Implementing and reconciliating project financials
  • Managing project risks and opportunities (in alignment with the project director)
  • Monitoring project tax and FX risks
  • Regular reporting and exchanging with different stakeholders (from site personnel, to procurement, up to the board)
  • Preparation of the financial part of the monthly project review (PFK) in collaboration with the project team
  • Responsible for proper set up and maintenance of projects in SAP

Your experiences

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance / Controlling with 5+ years’ experience in project controlling or project accounting in a similar industry in an international environment
  • Good command of SAP (PS, SD, MM), ERPs, and MS Office (especially MS Excel)
  • Fluency in English
  • Analytical, thorough, assertive personality, characterized by an accurate, adaptable and solution-oriented working style
  • Self-driven, frank personality with strong ethics and enthusiasm
