A day in the life of a Sr. Manager: Learning & Development (Global Learning Experience)

  • Identify and align functions and businesses around key business and learning goals, providing proactive and targeted learning design to ensure a robust portfolio providing coverage of skills in a range of modalities, lifecycle continuity and constant learner engagement.
  • Provide the most advanced thought leadership to the business to ensure best-in-class design of all learning solutions to functions and categories
  • Manage the team of Learning Experience Architects to successfully create/curate learning solutions that align to business priorities
  • Act as the functional lead of the global L&D community, including, but not limited to communication, thought leadership and capability building.
  • Act as a key partner to senior L&D managers, providing expertise and capabilities for the design of functional training, professional and leadership development.
  • Ensure best in class and updated design methodology through active collaboration with the Learning community as well as new and existing learning content providers
  • Accountable for global quality management of learning content
What will make you successful

  • Bachelor’s degree in Educational Adult Learning Theory, Educational Technology, Instructional Design, or a related field
  • Must have designed complex and immersive learning experiences, managing learning programs for at least 5 - 7 years
  • Expertise in a broad spectrum of learning tools, and modalities including blended learning journeys, simulations, and other adult learning modalities
  • Expertise in developing memorable learning experience: demonstrated success at leveraging contemporary employee development models and technologies
  • Experience assessing, selecting, and managing vendor partners to deliver learning programs
  • Deep knowledge and proven history of successfully applying adult learning theory in a fast-paced environment, producing measurable impact
  • Deep knowledge of learning technology capabilities: has worked with learning experience platforms and have a background in LMS’s, as well as gamification of learning and overall UX design
  • Ability to manage priorities in an adaptable and flexible manner
  • Results focused, proactive problem solver and service oriented
  • Excellent organizational skills, follow-up skills and attention to detail
  • Fluent in English
