The services to their international customers and suppliers brings suistainable change and include the entire value chain from purchasing, reprocessing, production and sale. Headquartered in Baar/Switzerland the company is represented with offices in Europe, USA, ZA.

Due to the on-going growth we are looking for a

Team Leader Logistics Operations

Your Position:
  • You will be leading a team of 7 team members who work from different locations as well as warehouse employees.
  • Coordination together with the commercial and financial department on day-to-day operations.
  • Managing and controlling the inventory in the warehouses all over the world
  • Coordination and planning a multitude cargo shipments (containers & trucks) with clients and suppliers and other third parties from all over the globe.
  • Client invoicing and supplier billing.
  • Lead in the trade finance instruments (e.g. Letter of Credits)
  • Optimization and implementation of work processes on a continuous basis
  • Close cooperation on a day-to-day basis with clients, suppliers.

Your Profile:
  • Commercial education, Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain, or relevant field.
  • 8+ years’ experience in a similar role in Logistics Operations, preferably within the commodity industry
  • Leadership experience
  • working experience in the world of logistics; you know how to manage multiple container and truck shipments at the same time
  • You are familiar with all documentation involved in cross-border shipments, in/outside the EU.
  • Solid understanding of logistics and inventory management software.
  • Outstanding analytical, problem solving and organizational abilities.
  • Fluency in English, preferably also German, any other language is an advantage
