Our client is a dynamic and international commodity trading company (fertilizers) with headquarters in Thalwil/Switzerland and operations in seven other countries.

To support the headquarter operations, we’re looking for a

Traffic Manager

Position’s Responsibilities:

• Executing contracts of products traded
• Handling of import and export letter of credit related matters, including issuance, amendments, preparation and presentation of documents
• Nomination of vessels to suppliers, terminals and receivers and acceptance of vessels after successful vetting by all parties
• Adhering to intercompany business process to ensure company standards and requirements are fulfilled
• Sending of documentary instructions to suppliers, ship agents, inspection or insurance companies and ensuring the timely issuance of documents
• Appointing surveyors for the inspection of vessels and products to be loaded/discharged, analysing surveyor’s findings and taking corrective measures in case of irregularities
• Monitoring of loading and discharge operations in coordination with agents and surveyors
• Processing payments for product, freight and logistic services
  

Position’s Requirements:

• Proven work experience in logistics and or trade finance operations
• Familiar with international transport documentation
• Skillfully gather and analyze information
• Good knowledge in MS Office, ERP System
• Organization skills; ability to prioritize and manage multiple transactions
• Self-starter and reliable
• Team player, dedicated and flexible
• English (written & spoken fluently) - any additional languages is a plus
• Global environment
