Hobson Prior are looking for a Lab Technician - Chemistry to join a fantastic pharmaceutical organisation on a contract basis. Our client is focused on prolonging and improving the lives of many.

Key Responsibilities
  • For this role, you will be accountable for order and cleanliness within allocated areas and rooms.
  • Cooperate and share knowledge with team and project shareholders.
  • You will adhere to and perceive multiple duties rendering to the respective lists of tasks.
  • Bring in concepts for the recommendation scheme.
  • Manage the receipt of goods, suitable storage and planning for dispatch of said goods.
  • Handle GMP-compliant documentation and control of the actions carried out, such as electronic batch documentation, logbooks, labels, forms, affiliates enclosures.
  • The ideal candidate will manage the operations which involves setup, cleaning and disinfection of the manufacturing facilities and rooms.
  • Assist in the execution of maintenance and calibration of the production amenities and contribute to allocated investment projects such as part of qualification and commissioning.
  • Contribute to meeting the supply team-specific process indicators, such as KPI.
  • Accomplish courses/training in the electronic training system in a timely manner.
  • Conform to allocated training/procedural papers.
  • Any other assigned duties.

Requirements
  • Vocational training is completed or ideally vocational training as a chemical and pharmaceutical technologist within the food division or hygiene organisation, or have experience within a GMP-regulated setting as a mechanic, mechatronics technician, etc.
  • Fluency in the German language with knowledge in the English language.
  • At least 5 years of experience within a GMP-regulated setting, no specialist training as a chemical or pharmaceutical technologist is necessary.
  • Previous involvement in a chemical or pharmaceutical manufacturing development organisation would be beneficial.
  • Familiarity with producing active ingredients such as sieving, mixing and milling actions, or solid dosage forms such as mixing, granulating, sieving, milling, compacting, extruding, tableting, encapsulating, sorting, coating.
  • A forklift driving license would be advantageous for this role.
  • Capable of managing the application of GxP guidelines safely.
