We are looking for our client, an international company in Lausanne, for a Laboratory Technician to join their teams for 6 months.

Your Tasks

You will execute several techniques of packaging characterization of coated paper: of barrier properties (gravimetric), resilience of barrier, optical density, microscopy of seal tight, oxipack leak rate detection for tight seal. seal strength and bond strength, cobb...
You will do run routine analysis and assists end users during method lifecycle
You will write corporate documents
You are capable to predict the impact of the results for the project/activity
You actively contribute to knowledge transfer and dissemination between different sites.

Your Profile

You have a CFC chemistry laborant or equivalent
You have minimum 2 years of experience as lab technician in chemistry
You have an expertise in paper packaging characterization
You are experienced in running analysis with one or more following platform: barrier performance, mechanical performance, paper recyclability, paper machinability
You have an experience in laboratory scale coating of paper
