Title: R&D Laboratory Technician

Responsibilities:

  • Equipment maintenance: manage calibration, maintenance, supplies, spare parts and wastes.
  • Set-up and validation of HPLC, LC-QTOF and GC-MS analytical methods
  • Collaborate with the R&D team in the design and execution of innovative experiments to support the development of new products and characterization of existing ones
  • Samples and laboratory management, inventory of the incoming and outcoming goods
  • Work in close collaboration with other R&D functions and RA department on the development of the internal SOPs and documentation

Requirements:

  • MSc in Chemistry or related fields
  • Previous experience in QC, method development and validation, LC-MS and GC-MS is a plus
  • Fluent English: you can read and understand peer-reviewed scientific literature, write official report on the assigned projects, communicate and collaborate with other people around the world
  • You already have experience in safely working in a chemical laboratory and in following detailed instructions and protocols
  • Highly motivated, independent, detail-oriented and well-organized, you have the ability to collaborate and operate in a multinational environment.
  • You are ready to learn new methods and techniques and to help the company with your ideas and experience
  • French and/or Italian is a plus

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: CHF55,000.00 - CHF70,000.00 per year
