Tasks

As a Lead Engineer Vehicle Systems Software, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing software systems for vehicle control, as well as managing one or more team members in said field.

Your Responsibilities:
  • Work with cross-functional teams to define software requirements for vehicle systems, including propulsion, fuel management and control, energy storage, and safety systems.
  • Develop software architectures and designs that meet the requirements and ensure safety and reliability.
  • Lead the development of software components, including writing code, developing algorithms, and implementing control strategies.
  • Establish and maintain software development processes, tools, and standards to ensure high-quality software is delivered on time and within budget.
  • Work with the systems team to ensure software is integrated and validated with hardware components.
  • Identify and mitigate risks associated with software development and integration.
  • Collaborate with the testing team to develop test plans, test cases, and procedures for software verification and validation.
  • Support the development of training materials and documentation for software systems.
  • Manage one or more software development team members, including task assignment, resource allocation, and performance evaluation.
  • Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance to the team.

Requirements
  • Working experience as a lead Engineer
  • Knowledge in Embedded Systems, Communication Protocols, UAV
