To ensure interoperability and operability of their Workflow Products we are looking for a Lead Systems Engineer to join their team.

Tasks & Responsibilities

• Technical responsibility for the development of lab automation system components or integrat ed systems, in alignment with business and technical stakeholders
• Technical-lateral leadership of systems engineering disciplines in the identification and implementation of systems engineering tasks in coordination with the project lead and
• the higher level systems engineering responsible according to internal development standards and processes
• Management of external partners, including creation of specifications, review and acceptance of work results
• Technical accountability for systems engineering deliveries, such as requirements, architecture, concept assessments, -ilities, configuration management or business
• impact balancing (CoGP, development cost, service cost impact)
• Responsibility for the translation of requirements into the different levels (PRQ, TRQ, USP), according to the project’s goal, integrated system or system component
• Responsibility for the identification, evaluation and mitigation of technical project risks, including deliveries according to the scope and change board decisions
• Excellent ability to lead teams laterally in accordance with our client’s Leadership Commitments and ability to manage external stakeholders
• Expert knowledge in project management for planning and controlling the development project
• Cooperation with other functions inside and outside the project in cross-functional activities, such as with HW and SW Engineering, Operations or Customer support
• Accountable for technical consistency and freedom to operate throughout the project
  

Must Haves

• Bachelor or Master degree in Electrical-, Mechanical- or Software-Engineering
• At least 3 years of professional experience as lead systems engineer or in a comparable technical leadership position
• At least 3 years of professional experience in and knowledge of relevant processes and methods of systems engineering, especially requirements engineering, architecture definition, V&V
• Experience and ability to lead by influencing and driving decisions in cross-functional, multicultural teams across locations and in cooperation with external partners is strong
• Experience and a proven track record in a regulated environment preferably in the diagnostics industry or in medical lab automation
• You are a practical and interactive person with Hardware and Software affinity
• You have an excellent level of communication, moderation and presentation skills
• Fluent in written and spoken English, German is an advantage
