Summary

The Logistic Specialist is responsible for organizing and handling stock movements in the warehouse in order to ensure the supply of materials within the GMP manufacturing space. Responsibilities include the coordination of the warehouse daily activities, receiving/shipping – picking – consumables inventory management, the management of Purchase Requisitions, Stock reconciliation and discrepancies correction, invoices review and approval, the management of the MES actions and the Good Receipt.

The Logistics Specialist is in constant contact with external and internal partners (external storage provider, transporter companies, and internal stakeholders) and ensure compliance in collaboration with the partner QA.

Duties And Responsabilities
  • Plan and manage the warehouse activities to ensure that the materials are received on time and in the right quantity: picking, receiving, shipping, inventory control, zoning, storage space optimization; in addition manage the logistic for consumables and waste storage and disposal
  • Conduct regular briefing and prepare instructions for the team of warehouse operators
  • Coordinate the interactions with the external storages; ensure stock reconciliation and discrepancies corrections
  • Participate to the creation of the Materials Master Data
  • Develop procedures and work instructions for the Warehouses and related systems
  • Execute training to operative staff where appropriate
  • Collaborate to the ERP Project implementation for the BioPlant as Key User for the warehouse; by participating in the testing, deployment and training
  • Collaborate with the MES administrator to define the different material management and material
  • flows
  • Support the management of technical related issues that will affect the day to day operation of the warehouse
  • Operate by strictly following the technical norms, safety rules and cGMP regulations
  • Ensure that adequate maintenance calibration and revalidation of warehouse equipment is provided
  • Ensure a complete traceability of the Warehouse activities following the Company’s compliance procedures and cGMP rules
  • Support the execution of the activities in eDMS and eQMS for the warehouse; in case of deviation and non-conformity, support the execution of proper documentation and investigation in collaboration with QA
  • Develop and improve relationships with stakeholders
  • Understand and implement internal policies, procedures and specifications
  • Act within compliance and legal requirements as well as within company guidelines
Requirements
  • Warehouse storage and shipment expert with experience in the pharma manufacturing environment
  • Is familiar with Good Distribution Practices guidelines, the regulated pharmaceutical environment and best industry practices
  • Experience with ERP and MES interfacing system
  • Knowledge of Pharmaceutical Quality, Manufacturing and GLP/GCP/GMP/GAMP practices
  • Strong interpersonal and communications skills; written and oral
  • Shift work is expected
  • Fluent in French, English is a plus
