Our Client, a worldwide Leader in Sterilisation, very present in the Medical Device & Pharmaceutical Industries, is looking for its new Maintenance Technician / Managerfor its new production site in Northern Switzerland (Solothurn).

The role will consist in management of maintenance activities, the successful candidate will also be the point of contact with supplies & the purchasing department.

The knowledge of conveyor machines is a must for this role.

Your activities will include :

  • Execute and coordinate, where appropriate, the necessary operational activities (updating of the Spare Parts Base, editing of maintenance records) to carry out the tasks of preventive, corrective and maintenance of the installations.
  • Maintain in good condition the tools and equipment that he/she is in charge of in order to carry out his/her functions.
  • Collaborate with the rest of those responsible in the continuous improvement of the equipment and systems of the installation.
  • Maintain and supply the necessary spare parts for the maintenance of the installations.
  • Coordination of the tasks related to the maintenance of the installation (planning (external and internal) and control).
  • Perform or manage the calibration and verification of production equipment and systems.
  • Participate together with the rest of the departments in the definition and execution of corrective actions arising from the actions derived from the Non-Conformities in process.
  • To contract maintenance services for production equipment in order to ensure that they are adapted to your needs.
  • To manage and maintain site computer systems, in order to ensure their correct operation and update them if necessary. (support of Corporate IT)
  • Support on HSE activities with the coordination of corporate HSE
  • Ensure that tasks related to equipment maintenance and facility upgrades are performed in accordance with the requirements of the quality management system.

About You :

  • Degree on technical engineering (electrical/mechanical engineering, mechatronics or equivalent)
  • Strong experience on Maintenance Tasks (production lines implying conveyors/filling lines/packaging lines)
  • Professional German & English

Salary: CHF80,000.00 - CHF100,000.00 per year
