For one of our client, a sizable company operating mainly in Switzerland, located in the Lausanne area. We are looking for a


Manager Accounting & Tax

to join the Finance department.


As Manager Accounting & Tax, you will actively take part in the management of Finance and Accounting operations for the group. The Manager Accounting & Tax will regularly interact with the management of the company.


Your scope

Lead the following tasks:

  • Day-to-day Accounting and Tax operations
  • Internal control
  • Compliance with accounting policies, company policies and processes and regulatory requirements
  • Tax operations (Corporate Income Tax and VAT)
  • Specific accounting / IFRS projects (new standards, accounting treatment of complex transactions, …)


Involved on the following tasks:


  • Financial closings
  • Production of IFRS consolidated financial statements, as well as annual statutory accounts
  • Annual audit for the company
  • Strategic projects and financing operations


Manage the accounting team



What you bring:

  • 8+ years of hands-on and strategic experience in financial accounting, auditing, or financial services
  • Experience in big 4 or/and in a similar role
  • Strong knowledge of IFRS and Swiss Code of Obligations
  • Strong knowledge of Swiss tax requirements and VAT
  • Strong knowledge in SAP and Microsoft Excel
  • Fluency in French and English
  • Excellent business judgment and decision-making skills
  • Result orientation - excellent analytical, reasoning, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work and thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Proactive and collaborative team player and project management skills, with ability to bring projects to timely completion. Experience in building teams and working in a constant growth and dynamic environment
