For our Procurement Team we are currently looking for a
Manager of Project Procurement - Europe

Your Responsibilities
  • Lead the team for project procurement for the various plants to fulfill new product project procurement targets
  • Define the roles and tasks for the team members and develop the people
  • Make sure to have early involvement of procurement function into new product development project
  • Work together with R&D, project management, product management etc. in the project scope, bridge the key information into procurement team internally and drive the tasks and KPI linked to procurement from the project
  • Identify and execute optimization potentials in project procurement area
  • Coordinate and drive cost reduction in the project scope
  • Price and contract negotiations with suppliers linked to project
  • Drive assigned key cost reduction projects


Our Requirements
  • Completed commercial/technical bachelor studies
  • Technical background or some years in technical sourcing experience
  • Several years of relevant professional experience as a project procurement leader for production materials in a global industrial company
  • Hands-on mentality
  • Sound knowledge of national and international contract law as well as negotiation methods
  • Good user skills in MS Office and SAP
  • Quality awareness, affinity for technology and production as well as entrepreneurial thinking and acting
  • Confident appearance, very good moderation as well as excellent communication skills at all levels
  • Intercultural competence, high willingness to travel as well as business fluent German and English skills
