I. JOB SUMMARY and REPORTING LINE

This is a role focused on managing and operating an online booking platform for vacation rental homes on a full-time basis to expand and grow the Company according to the following strategic vision:

· Expand the client base within the current area of Ticino and to all of Switzerland.

· Expand the company offerings to include additional complementary services.

· Implement company strategy to market and sell vacation home rentals in Ticino and Switzerland that will cater to English speaking tourists in the USA, UK, Australia and South Africa, with targeted marketing based on a specific understanding of the English speaking vacation rental consumer.

· Expansion of the current online booking platform.

The CEO is the most senior employee of the Company and reports to the Owner of the Company and/or Board of Directors/Shareholder on a regular basis.

II. ACADEMIC QUALIFICATIONS

A Master of Business Administration Degree is required. Candidates must have a minimum of 10 years’ experience in a similar business or have direct work experience in the real estate industry.

III. JOB EXPERIENCE AND REQUIREMENTS

· Demonstrate a strong working knowledge of finding new business opportunities specifically in connection with buying/selling or managing real-estate projects. Demonstrate a good general understanding of business concepts related to real estate rental arrangements.

· Possess strong operational and organization skills with the ability to manage many projects simultaneously and work independently with a strong self-initiative culture.

· Possess strong teamwork ability, communication skills and knowledge-sharing skills.

· Demonstrate a hands-on approach to managing the portfolio of rental homes and establishing a solid working relationship with rental homeowners and tenants.

· Demonstrate flexibility in daily operations and finding solutions on a day to day basis including working with employees and outsourced service partners in different locations in Switzerland and possibly in other countries.

· Strong understanding of web-based technology, online booking platform development and vacation rental management software

· Minimum of 10 years’ experience in the real estate industry, with an understanding of the English-speaking vacation rental consumer and their travel preferences.

· Entrepreneurial spirit with previous startup experience. Ability to be hands on, quick learner and be a multi tasker.

· English, German and Italian fluency. French a plus.

IV. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

· Daily management of operational tasks including all existing operational and administrative processes.

· Manage employees and outsourced service providers to maximize operational efficiency and financial results of the Company.

· Work with the Company owner/s to transition important business relationships including contracts with the owners of rental homes.

· Execute the strategic business plan for the financial and geographical expansion of the Company. Specifically, to expand the holiday rental platform to include additional apartment owners.

· Develop new products and processes to create more income alongside the value chain from property scouting and onboarding to the booking platform.

· Establish a solid professional network, including landowners and professional property developers, to help the company enter new markets.

· Perform other duties as required to drive business growth and expansion.
