The purpose of the Marketing Data Activation Lead role is to lead data activation initiatives in marketing for Bayer Consumer Health globally. The role focuses to leverage internal and external data to apply in marketing through AI, Machine Learning, Automation, Prediction, and Visualisation capabilities to deliver value in media, planning, brand insights and growth.The role aims to drive business transformation via translation of strategic AI & data capabilities into value creating market activations, including full accountability of its execution. This is a critical role to bring in external data tech and capabilities to apply in marketing through influencing GCBU and regional leaders.Your Tsks And Responsibilities
  • You shape and lead the Marketing Data Activation strategy at global level working with respective digital marketing, IT & brand teams
  • You setup the roadmap from initial pilots with clear learning plan to scale execution
  • You create clear, simple, and persuasive narratives to influence C-level executives driving business transformation through AI & data driven marketing activations
  • You orchestrate Data Activations in Marketing at global level (AI, ML, automation, Google Cloud, Safe Room, Trend Prediction, Campaign Optimization) with portfolio approach from hands-on ownership to coordination
  • You bring thought leadership to the Global Digital & Brand teams delivering transformative data driven marketing activations
  • You establish clear definition of success along with KPIs for the data driven marketing programs & setup the measurement framework capturing the business impact
  • You partner with the IT to shape the tech strategy and roadmap around data driven marketing plans
  • You lead and nurture the relationships with external partners that provide AI & data driven marketing services
Who You Are
  • You have completed a university degree (Bachelors – BA/BS) in the field of Business, Marketing, Engineering or similar disciplines (MBA is preferred)
  • You have many year’s international experience within one or more of the following areas: Digital Marketing, AI & Data Activation in Marketing, Strategy Consultancy in relevant sectors
  • You bring experience in leading a matrixed, cross-functional environment; actively collaborating and building rapport with a broad set of stakeholders
  • You are a skilful communicator with experience in influencing senior level executives by developing impactful narratives simplifying complex technical topics
  • You are an expert in managing enterprise-wide transformative programs (e.g. strategic plan, new capability launch) from inception to deployment
  • You have an analytical mindset and measurement experience around digital marketing, impact of data.
  • You describe yourself as a passionate Self-starter, questioning the status-quo and driving transformation with operational discipline.
  • You stay up to date on latest data driven marketing technologies (e.g. AI, LLM, Analytics, Prediction, Cloud, GA4)
  • You speak and write fluent English
