New development of Blood Gas & Electrolytes (BG/E) systems; from feasibility to series production. Would you like to be one of the pioneers? We would like to expand our team with a plastics expert who, as an experienced mechanical development engineer (m/f/d), can generate ideas and transfer them to series production with interdisciplinary support.

Responsibilities:

  • As a developer with many years of experience in the field of plastics, you are able to develop creative concepts and transfer them to large-scale production in a cost-optimised manner with interdisciplinary support.
  • Drawing up technical requirements and specifications for mechanical components and units, as well as documenting the results of your work.
  • Development of modules with fluidic, mechatronic, thermal functions and interfaces.
  • Responsibility for the evaluation and support of externally developed or commercially available modules and components.
  • Taking appropriate measures and optimizations for subsystems and components that are technically and economically in harmony.
  • Collaboration with experts from other disciplines, as well as the commissioning, close involvement and the management of external development partners for components or Subsystems.

Requirements:

  • Completed university studies in the field of mechanics (mechanical engineering, micromechanics, preferably with plastics specialization) or a comparable course of study.
  • Many years of professional experience in injection molding / plastics technologies at expert level, preferably from apparatus engineering with focus on cost-optimized large series.
  • Several years of professional experience with new developments of instruments, using the corresponding development tools (CAD: Solid Works advantageous).
  • Project language is German and listening and reading comprehension in English is necessary.
