Job Description


The Biosimilars Business Unit (BBU) is dedicated to the commercialization of biosimilar assets in the EU. The BBU is accountable for end-to-end global/local brand strategy and tactical delivery across commercial and the 3Ms. The Project Coordinator will partner with the Medical Operations Business Partner, Biosimilars to drive focus and excellence in the execution of Biosimilars global Medical strategy and tactics across all BBU geographies.

This individual will work closely with the Biosimilars Medical Affairs Swiss HQ to align on strategic priorities at local and regional level.


Principal Accountabilities

A. Medical Operations

  • Manages the processes related to the cross-border engagements for Biosimilars Medical Affairs Swiss HQ (ESE, interactions with HCP, logistical arrangements, contract execution). Coordinates the activity with the appropriate stakeholders at the global, regional and local levels. Provides input and applicable forecasts as requested by Global Medical Operations.
  • Supports congress logistics management for Biosimilars Medical Affairs Swiss HQ. Represents and acts on behalf of BBU Medical in the cross functional BBU congress team.
  • Tracks regional and local external engagements as assigned. Ensures that appropriate reports are delivered on time.
  • Generates the monthly dashboard on BBU Medical and RA activities. Collects the data, reviews the content and develops the reports. Collates reports to the executive summary and distribute it to sr leadership.
  • Taking minutes at Biosimilars Medical Leads meeting. Follows up and track the actions with responsible stakeholders. Responsible for the meeting logistics.
  • Supports brand / ICP process.
  • Support and execution for ad hoc projects and campaigns for Biosimilars Medical Affairs Swiss HQ.

B. Regulatory Affairs Support

  • Support management of the network of the external consultants across Europe.
  • Ownership of departmental sharepoint sites, access rights management for Biogen’s platforms.
  • Other tasks as identifiedied.

C. Pharmacovigilance Operations

  • Supporting Adverse Event (AE) reporting obligations according to the guidelines and commitments to strategic business partners (e.g. Samsung Bioepis) including a development of the quarterly traclers repoted to the partner.
  • Supports internal team to fulfill their obligations especially when involving the organized data collection initiatives, informs about the requirements, provides the templates, informs Pharmacovigilance (PV) leads on new initiatives etc.
  • Monitors the PV email box relevant for the AE reporting for SB partnered products.
  • Supports quality audits / inspections focused on PV processes.

D. Support financial and purchasing excellence

  • Manages and supports contracts execution, negotiates deliverables and milestones in the contracts, manages Purchase Order process and follow-up on invoicing across.
  • Supports regular AOP and financial forecast update cycles.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree in life science or business management.
  • Master’s Degree in life science or business management preferred.
  • 1-2 years working in a pharma or similar industryy.
