We are looking for a dynamic person whose diversity of tasks is a vector of motivation and a unique opportunity to get involved in multiple fields.

You will be part of the engineer team. You will support the production of the Cavaterm System. You will participate to development projects under the supervision of the R&D Manager. You will also be in support to the Quality Manager for quality assurance issues.

Your Responsibilities

You are an enthusiastic person, ready to work in a small and dynamic structure. The position requires a rigorous, multitasks and open mind person:
  • Coordinate the production and the maintenance of an electro-mechanical device;
  • Update procedures and instructions related to the production. Keep a registry of the maintenance services.
  • Conceive and manufacture prototypes and production tools in order to improve production capacity or to reduce cost of production.
  • Manage the calibration of all the production equipment.
  • Participate to R&D projects under the supervision of the R&D Manager for the development of new products.
  • Perform firmware and electronic developments and update of the technical files related to software and electronics.
  • Support the Quality Manager for the audits of technical files (mainly software and electronics) and for the technical investigations of device complaints.
  • Perform the IQC of critical components requiring engineering level.

Education And Skills
  • Microtechnology Engineering degree (BSc/MSc), mechatronic oriented (HES/EPF or equivalent)
  • Strong development skills in embedded software (C language)
  • Very good knowledge of Solidworks
  • Good understanding of electrical and electronic circuits (incl. schematics and datasheets) and knowledge of Altium Design
  • Familiarity with Matlab, Labview, and Python for the projects development
  • Good level of spoken and written English – technical writing in English
  • Autonomous, organized and able to manage difficult milestones
  • 1 year of professional experience in a similar environment is an asset
  • Experience with technical documentation writing in compliance with ISO 13485, IEC 62304 is an asset
  • Experience with ARM architecture and version control is a plus
  • Cleanroom experience is a plus
  • Experience in software architecture and design is a plus
  • 3D printing experience is a plus
