Network Engineer (m/f).

Exciting Challenges

  • Drive implementation of network zoning in the Sika Group
  • Management of network services to achieve the defined SLA/OLAs
  • Monitoring of the network infrastructure as well as incident and change management
  • Documentation of network infrastructure and processes and preparation of offers for new network services/systems
  • Implementing and reporting of new network services/systems
  • Contribution to the definition, implementation, and improvement of ITIL based IT processes
  • Definition of standards related to Sika’s network infrastructure
  • Organization of trainings/workshops on network topics
  • Consultation of regional and local IT security managers with regards to network related security questions
  • Implementation of Sika’s IT security policy for the network services in the remit of the team
  • Definition of security concepts for network services in collaboration with the Security Officer

We Need Your Skills

  • Education in Computer Science, Information Technology or equivalent
  • 5 years of relevant experience in complex multinational network environments required
  • Strong knowledge in firewall administration and network switching technologies
  • Experience in implementing network zoning, administering F5 infrastructure and DDI solutions
  • Fluent English and German
