Network Security Engineer Cisco/ Fortinet (Bern, Basel or Zurich)

Client:

A Swiss full-service provider for ICT, multi-technology e-mobility and facility services. Their divisions offer services in the smart city, energy, efficient buildings and industry sectors at 8 locations throughout Switzerland.

To complement their team based in Bern, Basel or Zurich, they’re looking for a Network Security Engineer.

Position:

In this position with a focus on security, you will develop innovative solutions for the customers. You understand how to create the architectural design of network and security solutions to implement them in projects.

Responsibilities:

Define the architecture of network and security solutions based on Cisco, Fortinet and other products

Project implementations/expansions in the area of Cisco, Fortinet and other security solutions

Implementation of SIEM solutions for our customers with ongoing evaluation of use cases

Development of technical and operational specifications for the company

Implementation of customer requirements in their networks

Carrying out security checks

Continuous updating of documentation as well as accompanying and supporting customers in projects

Readiness for support and on-call service

Profile:

3 to 6 years of practical experience in installing, configuring and operating network and security solutions based on Cisco and Fortinet

Experience in the areas of SIEM, Identity Management (Cisco ISE), Endpoint Security and Cyber Security

Relevant certifications are an advantage

German: mother tongue and fluent English
