Are you an Oracle Database Administrator looking for your next challenge in the financial sector? Do you have experience of SQL and Sybase? Then read on.

Our client, a major financial institution in Geneva is looking for an Oracle Database administrator to manage the day-to-day technical tasks in a busy Oracle team.

You will have previous experience of database management and optimisation, generating weekly and monthly reports to share with application owners.

You will also be responsible for capacity planning, installation, configuration, database design, migration, performance monitoring, security, troubleshooting, as well as backup and data recovery.

You will also install and upgrade database servers and application tools (including RAC and Dataguard system) and allocate system storage and plan for future storage requirements.

knowledge of SQL and Sybase would be a plus for this position.

Fluent French and a good level of English is required as is residency in Switzerland.
