About The Job

Who we are looking for

You are an experienced paralegal who will play a pivotal role within our Legal Division, handling governmental filings/registrations, maintaining legal records, coordinating projects, carrying out internal communication duties, and other administrative duties. The paralegal should be extremely organized, detail-oriented, and flexible.

Although based in our Geneva headquarters, the paralegal will be liaising with all of our subsidiaries around the world, so strong social skills are a plus.

This position will report to the Head of Legal and will work at 100% (note: the paralegal could also be hired at 80% or 90% the individual would prefer).

Job Description

Maintaining Various Legal Resources
  • Centralize Legal Documents with electronic and physical files
  • Maintain group policy register and coordinate routine updates
  • Keep the legal intranet page up-to-date
  • Maintain and file documents in shareholder database
  • Assist with document requests
  • Maintain and organize trademark verifications

Legal Registrations/Filings
  • Maintain company registrations (i.e., FATCA, LEI, Commercial Register, etc.)
  • Manage group insurance
  • Fulfil notarization and/or apostille requests
  • Conduct various other filings

Legal Documents
  • Check final versions of contracts, memos, etc. for spelling, grammar, and formatting issues
  • Fill in basic information in current templates

Administrative Tasks
  • Coordinate projects with several other subsidiaries and/or departments
  • Procure digital and physical signatures on documents
  • Organize mass mailings
  • Help with event organization
  • Take minutes of meetings
  • Conduct various other administrative duties

Your Qualification

We are looking for a dynamic person who is detail-oriented, autonomous, and able to work in an international and challenging environment.

More specifically, you have the following skills and competencies:
  • Bachelor degree with a specialization, addition qualification and/or experience in law (knowledge of finance and/or administration is a plus)
  • You can demonstrate several years’ experience as a paralegal in a law firm or corporate legal department, working with management
  • You are very organized, autonomous, and have excellent attention to detail
  • You are adept and agile to perform in a fast-paced environment, and managing competing demands and priorities
  • You are IT savvy and have a good working knowledge of Outlook, SharePoint, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • You are comfortable to work in an international and multi-cultural workplace
  • You pride yourself in providing a great client experience
  • You have a high level of integrity and confidentiality
  • You have an interest in impact finance and/or sustainable development
  • You are perfectly fluent in both English and French. Other languages such as Spanish would be a plus
  • Swiss/EU National or valid Swiss Work Permit is required
  • You enjoy collaborating with others to reach common goals
