I’m actively seeking a Pharmacometrics Lead for a leading R&D site in Switzerland. My client is a leading company in ground-breaking research for oncology and infectious diseases across the globe.

As the Pharmacometrics Lead, you will play a key role in shaping my client’s approach to drug development in the field of oncology and antibiotics by leveraging brand-new cutting-edge PK and PK/PD methodologies.

In this strategic role, you will be providing critical insight to accelerate the development of innovative medicine by leading the design and execution of modelling and simulation strategies by analysing clinical and non-clinical data.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Apply innovative quantitative methods to analyse data, modelling pharmacokinetics, pharmacodynamics, biomarkers, and clinical outcomes.
  • Develop and execute PK/PD modelling strategies to support early and late clinical phases of projects.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to inform study design, dose selection, and optimization.
  • Lead and oversee pharmacometrics activities for assigned projects, ensuring compliance with regulatory guidelines.
  • Prepare documentation for regulatory interactions and contribute to scientific communications.
  • Contribute to the In & Out licensing activities as part of the company’s model.

Your Profile:

  • Ph.D. or equivalent in pharmaceutical sciences, mathematics, statistics, engineering, or related fields.
  • Strong expertise in pharmacometrics, including population PK/PD modelling and exposure-response analysis.
  • Proficiency in programming languages (R, Python) and Population PK/PD modelling software (NONMEM, Monolix).
  • In-depth understanding of pharmacology, pharmacokinetics, and clinical development.
  • Minimum 7 years experience in pharmacometrics, preferably in Translational R&D, with oncology and/or antibiotics focus.
  • Familiarity with GCP, GCLP, and regulatory guidelines.
  • Collaborative mindset and adaptability to a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.
  • Excellent English communication skills; French proficiency is a plus.
