Your Responsibilities

  • You coordinate the entire accounting process and ensure the correct booking, valuation, and reporting of all business transactions.
  • You are responsible, among other things, for conducting and documenting the range of coverage valuations of materials (material devaluation), determining and booking provisions, managing fixed asset accounting, as well as checking and booking travel expenses.
  • You support the timely and audit-compliant preparation of monthly and annual financial statements in accordance with the group and local standards.
  • You serve as the point of contact for the auditors during the year-end audit.
  • Support the oversight and assurance of compliance with the entire reporting system for VAT in CH, DE, SK, and GB.
  • Support for reviewing and continuously improving the internal control system (ICS) for all balance sheet/accounting incidents.
  • Leading and/or participating in projects to optimize accounting processes complete this exciting range of tasks.

Your Qualifications

  • For this responsible role, you have completed further education at the level of a specialist certificate in finance and accounting; with any additional education, for example, at the level of a university of applied sciences degree (HF/FH) in the field of accounting/finance being desirable.
  • You have accumulated at least three years of practical professional experience in the field of financial accounting (e.g. IFRS, US GAAP, Swiss GAAP Fer or HGB) and are familiar with the Swiss Code of Obligations (OR).
  • You have good knowledge of the SAP FI module and have also gained initial experience in other modules such as MM, CO, PS.
  • You can demonstrate good verbal and written skills in both German and English.
