Principal Technology Sales (d/f/m), MedTech Industry – DACH region

Responsibilities
  • Be the Go-to-market lead for our advanced Technology across our Commercial, Compliance, Analytics and Consulting portfolio in the MedTech Industry.
  • Focus on Large and Midsize clients in the DACH region (Germany, Austria and Switzerland).
  • Use your consultative selling approach to develop insightful, value-added strategies and programs that address complex client challenges.
  • Discover and develop (new) clients by anticipating the last industry-, client- and competitive trends and leverage or orchestrate our existing business network and customer base.
  • Take-over existing (assigned) accounts and create new sales and business opportunities and take responsibility for revenue and margin.
  • Acts as principal owner of engagements and take ultimate ownership for your clients’ technology and commercial satisfaction.
  • Contribute through speaking engagements, client meetings, publications etc.
  • Allocate direction, advice, and intellectual leadership to clients and delivery teams.
  • Drive thought leadership and firm building initiatives.
  • Mentor, coach, and shares subject matter expertise with others to help develop individuals and capabilities delivering world-class solutions for our clients.
Requirements
  • A minimum of a master’s degree or equivalent in business administration, health economics, natural sciences, medicine or related discipline, or knowledge acquired through equivalent experience.
  • 10-15 years + experience in the relevant Consulting or Software industry.
  • Broad and relevant knowledge of the MedTech industry.
  • Principal owner of client engagements within leading Life Sciences and/or MedTech organizations, focused on client tech strategy and/or outstanding client deployments.
  • Proven capability to identify new business revenue opportunities with new and existing clients.
  • Proven existing client network. Evident ability to build relationships, identify client pain points, and develop custom solutions at the CEO/COO/CMO level (ideally providing comprehensive and authoritative knowledge in brand/commercial services solutions demonstrated through speaking, writing, and general eminence).
  • Demonstrated success in selling complex strategy and operations engagements to the top MedTech companies. Actively participate in proposal development and ongoing pre-sales meetings with potential new client organizations.
  • Good communication in German and in English is a must. Strong commitment to effective, cross-functional teamwork.
  • Willingness to work remotely when not on site with clients.
