With an expertise honed over many years at the cutting-edge of the life-sciences industry, we help companies find people and we help people find companies.Process Maintenance Project Engineer - 5158 URAOur client, a dynamic global bio-pharmaceutical company headquartered in Switzerland, covering multiple therapeutic areas, is looking for a Process Maintenance Project Engineer on a contract basis based in the Bern area .The ideal candidate should have Proven track record in maintenance , preferably with project management experience in the pharmaceutical industry with excellent English and german language skills.Main Responsibilities
  • Support of the engineering department in the area of maintenance for a proper setup of the respective CapEx projects including optimization of plant availability
  • Interactive as a single point of contact between departments for planning and scheduling project activities
  • Collecting inquiries from the engineering department and taking necessary steps to implement or recommend appropriate actions
  • Provide guidance on maintenance requirements through feedback to the engineering department
  • Execution of field work, commissioning of devices/systems, FAT
  • Execution of process calculations / service descriptions
  • Development and preparation of solutions within the interface areas
  • Working with engineers and asset owners as well as external vendors to create the right on-site maintenance schedules and task lists
  • Conducting investigations to fix problems and correct changes
  • Support of general administrative and organizational activities within the department
  • Support the organization to ensure technical qualification status according to current internal and external requirements Support of the specific qualification holder
Qualifications And Experience
  • Relevant working/residency permit or Swiss/EU-Citizenship required.
  • Technical studies (TS, HTL) as process/systems engineer (preferably mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, industry, chemistry) or comparable field of study
  • Proven track record in maintenance, preferably with project management experience in the pharmaceutical industry
  • Technical competence in the construction sector
  • Experience in working with various stakeholders, internally and externally
  • Preferably experience in the regulated industry (GxP)
  • Experience with CMMS systems
  • In-depth knowledge of SAP and experience with various IT tools and systems, especially MS Office
  • Strong communication skills at different hierarchical levels
  • Skills in time and self-management, team working
  • English and German speaking is a must.
