Hobson Prior are currently looking for a Procurement and Supply Chain Manager to join a brilliant CMO on a permanent basis located in Basel. Our client is focused on developing and producing registered starting materials.Please note that to be considered for this role you must have the right to work in this location.Key Responsibilities
  • For this role, you will be responsible for handling sales and production orders in SAP, for example: preparing and releasing.
  • The ideal candidate will process orders in SAP and entry of customer order in SAP as well as their assistance after production.
  • Responsible for complying with the pertinent external guidelines and the corresponding internal regulations, processes and standards within all areas of resources management, for example: quality (Good Manufacturing Practice, cGMP), safety (process safety, occupational safety, hygiene and the setting), and REACH needs.
  • Accountable for ordering MRO items, direct materials common within the chemical organisation.
  • As the Procurement and Supply Chain Manager, you will be accountable for logistics, both inbound as well as outbound.
  • Responsible for stock management of direct resources and technical goods.
  • You will prepare a 12-month sale and operations plan for a chemical batch production facility, collaborating with the methodical sourcing team in India, along with the marketing and production team.
Requirements
  • Deliberation abilities.
  • A background in GMP.
  • Knowledge in supply chain with a comprehension in procurement.
  • Capable of being on site 4-5 days a week.
  • Fluency in the German and English languages.
