For our client company, we are looking for a a Product Care Project Leader with at least 3 years of experience in working with suppliers and external partners in a GMP regulated company. Experience in a highly regulated manufacturing environment is required, injection moulding and film processing experience would be of advantage.

General information:

- Remote/Home Office: possible at times

- Travel: up to 25%

Duties & Responsibilities:

- Lead one or more projects with external manufacturing partners in the injection moulding area as well as in the film processing area:

  • Create and maintain detailed project plans, as well as analyse their critical paths.
  • Analysing project risks and controlling the mitigations
  • Plan and control the project budget and resources

- Monitor the progress of the project against the project plan

- Ensure timely delivery of work packages and their quality, including external partners

- Responsible for project deliverables and documentation

- Lead and manage project teams with 3-5 internal members (matrix organisation)

- Promote and manage cooperation with internal interfaces and external (sub-) suppliers

- Regular reporting based on project reports, as well as proactive and timely escalation of problems and risks

- Proactively collaborate and coordinate with peer project managers working under common leadership (e.g. in a programme organisation)

Must Haves:

- University degree in engineering or life sciences (e.g. mechanical engineering, automation engineering, materials engineering).

- At least 3 years of professional experience in managing complex projects with external partners and suppliers in a manufacturing, GMP regulated company

- Experience in a highly regulated production environment (clean room facilities)

- Very good communication skills in German and English (spoken and written) are required

- Willingness to travel (up to 25%)

- Good knowledge of project management software, preferably experience in SmartSheet

- Willingness to work in an agile environment, experience in Lean SixSigma

Nice to Haves:

- Knowledge of injection moulding manufacturing

- Knowledge of multilayer film manufacturing and processing
