The Product Design Expert is the technical support of the Gutor product line UPS systems and inverters and UPS solutions from development to sustaining.Life is on – What about you?Your tasks

• You are responsible to support designing, modeling, prototyping and defining product features, interfaces, and interactions up to the industrialization level.
• Your daily tasks include defining levels of system building blocks and components.
• As a member of the Product Design Team you prepare training documents and presentations for internal and customer use and execute training sessions/workshops.
• You are working closely with the other research and development teams, external design agencies, product management and members of the agile sprint teams.
• Securing appropriate product compliance and technical documentation (technical data, application information, selection rules) are part of your daily scope of work.
• Last but not least – You support on application guidance and special solutions.

Your profile

• You hold a Master degree in Power Electronics Engineering or Electronics Technician with several years’ experience in UPS Design/Application/Operation
• You have a basic know-how about UPS topologies and associated applications. Furthermore you are proficient in visualization and have advanced didactical skills
• You have an affinity for IT, are proficient in Microsoft PowerPoint and a fast learner of new tools and platforms
• Possessing fluency in English and good German skills you are ready to work on global project with international and regional stakeholders
• It is a plus if you have experience Product Management or Sales as well as experience in the production, assembly or test bay of power converters
• You are an open-minded team player who is target oriented and likes to take decisions
