SCOTT Sports SA is an international company with a young, dynamic team. We develop, produce and market bike, motorsport, wintersport and running products worldwide. To reinforce our Softgoods Team in Givisiez (Switzerland) we are looking for a creative, dynamic and ambitious Product Manager Winter, Mountain & Lifestyle Apparel Mission: You will work within our cross-functional Softgoods team and report directly to the Category Product Manager for Winter, Mountain & Lifestyle Apparel. You will create products from concept to realisation. You are accountable for devising new product strategies, developing the new product roadmap, managing assigned product line plans and work in close collaboration with designers, developers and the fabrics & trims team. You will work closely with our manufacturers in Asia & Europe including onsite trips. The ideal candidate will demonstrate exceptional skills in product creation and development, as well as possess outstanding organizational and communication skills. Responsibilities must be performed under fast-paced conditions, so the candidate must be able to multi-task and prioritize. This role will need to be able to adapt to working on multiple product categories and be able to handle quick turnarounds and large SKU counts. The ideal candidate is a biker, runner, skier and/or snowboarder. Your day-to-day business: * Research & analysis of the market for upcoming trends & needs * Accountable for the range architecture & product lifecycle planning, naming concepts, the building of line plans and merchandising concepts, considering an efficient and effective fabric and colour usage based on range efficiency targets * Develop and implement assortment strategies for the respective product lines in collaboration with our sales & marketing team * Work with designers & product development team to develop new products & lines to meet target market requirements & implements the seasonal milestone calendar * Create & maintain product line-up in PLM system & maintain SKU efficiency by monitoring success of each product and proposing corrective actions * Day-to-day communication exchange with manufacturers in Asia & Europe * Responsible for product line-up meetings with marketing & sales to present seasonal product concepts & prototypes to key markets * Product presentation to international sales, media & key accounts * Multifunctional collaboration between marketing, sales, design, development & operations What you need to be successful in the team: * Track record within premium sport brands * 3+ years of work experience in sports apparel industry * Degree in Business Administration (or equivalent) with connection to textile industry * Strong communication, problem solving and critical thinking skills * Versed in the complexities of manufacturing processes, colors, coatings & finishes * Strong understanding of cut-and-sew quality standards incl. raw material & product assembly * Knowledge of product material costing, lead-times & MOQ implications * Ability to work in a team, prioritize and manage workload efficiently * Proficiency with MS Office, PLM-System, Adobe Creative Cloud * Fluent in English, knowledge in German or French The candidate will work in a young, creative, multilingual environment that lives the lifestyle and the spirit of the SCOTT brand.
