Insight into the role
  • Working alongside a highly dedicated & talented team, you’ll support and drive the business strategy for our Livestock Performance Monitoring solutions
  • This is full life cycle management – working with good structure and an established management operating system, you’ll be super comfortable consistently executing the details
  • ‘Think Global!’ - multi disciplined teams requiring collaboration across cultures and time zones
  • Tailor branding and market product strategies, whilst synthesizing global market requirements
  • Work to a defined process and structure, always central to executing the product strategy
  • You’ll have a lot of interesting work, driving key organizational goal with the independence to decide priorities and influence product strategies
  • You’ll have challenging goals and be accountable to drive them into detailed plans and functional requirements
  • Maintain key working relationships with regional sales & product marketing, with R&D, finance, quality, supply chain, site engineering & procurement
  • Help guide development of roadmaps & priorities through market back analysis gathering voice of customer & voice of our sales team
  • Support analysis & development of ‘go to market strategies’ including the product, service & data offerings with accompanying price modelling & channel strategies
  • Monitor category & margin performance & implementing improvement initiatives
Key factors for success
  • Solutions focused – Highly organised – Process driven – Adaptable – Decisive – Detail oriented
  • 2-3 years in product management in a technical environment, working with a tangible product
  • Experience in a start-up business managing a varied hands-on role, supporting the team in doing what needs to be done to achieve outcomes – Global exposure across different functions and markets ideal
  • Mechanical or electrical hardware or software experience is essential as you’ll be interfacing with R&D & working with technical information
  • Flexibility to grow and adapt while remaining focused on task – ability to initiate new structure & support process improvements
  • Analytical mind to break down problems & work through the steps to find appropriate solutions
  • Data driven to provide analysis regarding market segmentation, pricing, opportunities, priorities
  • Articulate with strong interpersonal skills – comfortable with managing expectations
