Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent practical experience
  • Experience as a product manager, leading product delivery from inception to launch and maintenance


Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience with e-commerce, customer support, or operations
  • Experience with help content and support processes
  • Ability to influence without direct authority
  • Excellent and articulate communicator with internal teams and external partners
  • Analytical mindset and drive to bring structure

In this role, you will build tools, workflows, and help and support for these diverse set of open ecosystem retailers.

As a Product Manager at Google, you could be working on new technologies, platforms, consumer facing products, and/or enterprise systems. The end goal will be to match you with the team that best aligns with your interests, experience, and where you will have the most impact.

Responsibilities

  • Understand the nature and frequency of the different types of support needs through data analysis and user research. Measure and analyze the effectiveness of our help and support structures and processes.
  • Define the vision and approach for the help and support experience for merchants and bring in operational efficiencies in the process.
  • Introduce further personalization insights to create help and support offerings tailored to a given merchant’s setup and challenges.
  • Unify help and support experiences across tools, surfaces, channels including integrated support with third-party partners.
  • Put in place infrastructure and processes that allow efficient scaling of support operations to a quickly growing merchant base. Coordinate with a broad range of cross-functional teams on achieving joint goals.
