The Product Manager of Schindler’s Robotic Installation System for Elevator (Schindler R.I.S.E) assures a professional product management of the system. You provide the most competitive robotic installation solution to meet the latest market and customer requirements. You ensure the product is following the latest technology, is properly developed, industrialized and introduced into the operational installation business and also maintained throughout its life cycle including the sustainability aspect of the system.

Main responsibilities include:

• Lead product management of Schindler R.I.S.E system and components
• Hands-on involvement in development/field validation and technical support activities
• Further development of operational aspects like continuous product improvements, maintenance of line, logistics and spare part management
• Manage suppliers and industrialization of new/updated components and software
• Technical support for country organizations and operational field teams
• Manages codes and standards as well as certification-specific product and system topics

Further requirements include:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in robotics/automation or equivalent or comparable in mechatronics
• Previous record in product management in robotics
• Experience in mechatronic products
• Cross-functional leadership record/working in international teams
• Strong planning and problem-solving skills with strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Team player with strong social competencies and ability to also work independently
• Full proficiency in English
