Reports to: Senior Product & Education Specialist

Position summary

The ideal candidate will develop a strong knowledge of the product and the medical fields in which the company is involved to provide high-quality support to our customers during their use of the product. In addition, he/she will be integrated into a cross-functional team to support the expansion of its medical network by participating in Sales activities such as congresses, follow-up of leads or existing customers, etc..


Essential functions and responsibilities

Product Installation and support

  • Plan and manage on-site installations and demonstrations
  • Actively participate in the operating room to prepare and conduct the demonstration
  • Conduct training of the surgical team to use the device independently
  • Perform follow-up visits regularly to:
    • Ensure the proper use of the device by the medical teams
    • Collect feedback on the product
    • Perform maintenance operations

Sales support

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with the customers
  • Provide feedback gathered from the customers to adapt and improve sales and marketing material
  • Participate in sales events such as congresses
  • Follow-up on sales leads

Operational management

  • Report on your activities
  • Assist the development of the company’s products:
    • By collecting and transferring feedback
    • By evaluating the feasibility of new applications
  • Participate in improving company processes related to customer relationships, and internal and external training,…

Qualifications

  • University degree in biology or biomedical field
  • 0-2 years experience in a similar position in the medical device industry
  • Knowledge of the fields of oncology, oncological surgery and/or anatomopathology is a plus
  • Ability to teach a procedure to different audiences and adapt accordingly
  • Fluency in English and French (German is a plus)
  • Excellent presentation and interpersonal communications skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work autonomously and with flexible hours
  • Ability to manage multiple projects while delivering on established timelines

Travel will be required in Switzerland, France, Germany and possibly other European countries depending on the company’s market development.


Personality

  • Ability to contribute to a collaborative, results-driven environment.
  • Experience in a start-up or other small organizations is a plus.
  • No issues with being in an operating room
  • Ability to calmly handle stressful situations
